Our family has been in the restaurant business for quite a while, and today, at La Taqueria, we’re bringing authentic Mexican street food right here to Wausau. Our parents owned a taqueria growing up, and it's our goal to continue that legacy with a menu of traditional dishes all made with a modern twist of our own. In an open, airy space designed for total relaxation, you and your family are sure to have a great time when you join us for a meal! As one of the newest places in the area, we couldn't be more excited to be here, and we look forward to showing you what we've got cooking.

First time going to La Taqueria. But I had a great experience, beautiful atmosphere, and great service. Everyone was very kind but patient. Food was very delicious. Did mess up a little bit on my order but other than that a very nice restaurant. I do recommend it.

Delicious !!! Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been too. The wait was relatively short. I ordered the asada bowl with churros and elote. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. I would definitely return if I was in the area again. Restaurant is also fairly large, very clean and offers outdoors seating! I would highly recommend!!
